Our Maryland Team
Born and raised on a dairy, beef cattle and row crop farm in Delaware, Flip has been with Southern States serving farmers for over 23 years. A double major in General Ag and Ag Education from Delaware State University, Flip was a high school agriculture teacher before joining Southern States in 1995.
He is a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA), Integrated Pest Management (IPM) certified, and certified in creating Delaware and Maryland Nutrient Management plans. He is a recipient of the Distinguish Ag award from the Delaware Department of Agriculture.
Flip specializes in pasture and hay management, corn, soybean and wheat barley.
Ben grew up on a grain farm, and along with working at Southern States for the past 5 years, he also runs his own beef cattle operation. He is heavily involved in ag and the local community as a member of his county’s 4-H County Fair Board and a member of the West Virginia University Agriculture Extension and Education program. He aims to help his growers make sound agronomic decisions on seed, chemicals and fertilizer for their operations.
Dave has 40 plus years’ experience in the Agricultural Business making sound agronomic recommendations to producers. He has 10 plus years working for Southern States at the Queen Anne’s Agronomy Center.
